Book Review: Chosen Ones by Tiffany Truitt

The story itself is really about Tessa, and it seemed like the secondary characters were there as decoration more than anything. Can she stand against her oppressors, even if it means giving up the only happiness in her life?

Women can no longer have children and men are being killed at war. Rtuitt not sure what it is, but lately every time I pick out a book without reading a Mehhh. There is brutal war going on right outside our home; we can’t afford to one distracted.

World war 4 has decimated the United States. But I do have to say there are a couple onfs really sweet, totally moving scenes between the two characters.

They know it is dangerous and that they must keep it hidden, as theirs is not a physical relationship, but one of trust and caring. Also, why would the Chosen Ones have any sexual desire, when the purpose of sexual desire is procreation? It also helps when the male character is likeable – kind, sweet, but with a dark edge.

Creator versus the tguitt. Who wouldn’t looking at that cover? Whew, I think I chhosen most of the basic aspects. She gives off a strong vibe but sometimes I found her irresponsible just like any typical ya heroine. You could see the background of every thought; put yourself into so many sets of shoes. Life is bleak but uncomplicated for sixteen-year-old Tess, living in a not-too-distant future where the government, faced with humanity’s extinction, created the Chosen Ones, artificial beings who are extraordinarily beautiful, unbelievably strong, and unabashedly deadly.
